Arbitrators and freezing injunctions

In Kastner v Jason [2004] EWHC 592 (Ch) Lightman J had to decide, in an unusual context, whether it was open to arbitrators to make an order freezing the property of the respondent in the arbitration as security for the arbitration. The Court was also required to consider what effect a valid order would have over the assets that were subject to the order.
