BUTCHER STARTS AT ASTA, RAPPAZ JOINS QATAR RE, FIRST DAY ON RSA BOARD FOR CUCCHIANI

Tim Butcher begins his role at Asta Managing Agency today, where he will be developing the international account at syndicate 2025. Asta has allocated £225,000 of capacity to Butcher, who was previously director of international liability at syndicate 386, now managed by QBE. He resigned from the position in June. Stephen Rappaz begins his role as global head of liability at Qatar Re today, having joined the company from New Re where he most recently served as head of casualty underwriting. Enrico Cucchiani joins the board of RSA today, joining both the risk and remuneration committees. Cucchiani has previously held directorships with a number of firms, including Allianz, where he also spent 15 years working in a number of roles.
