DUAL HIRES BONNINGTON AND HOLT FOR PROFESSIONAL INDEMNITY BUSINESS

Underwriting agency Dual has appointed Stephen Bonnington to head up its professional indemnity (PI) and cyber business, while Peter Holt joins as chairman of Dual PI. Bonnington will begin his role at the underwriting arm of the Hyperion Insurance Group in the new year. His experience includes roles at Aon and Willis, before moving to AIG in 2008, where he became head of PI for the UK and Ireland. In 2012, he joined Zurich Australia and New Zealand to run their financial lines portfolio. Most recently, Bonnington was at Lockton, where he was the London head of its global technology and privacy practice. In his role as chairman of Dual PI, Holt, an experienced London market PI underwriter, will focus on writing business across a wide range of professions in the UK and worldwide.
