Arbitration - Error of law - Procedural irregularity - Arbitration Act 1996, sections 68 and 69

The claimant sought permission under section 69 of the Arbitration Act 1996 to appeal against an arbitral award which had imposed upon him a life ban from cricket and also a costs order, for participating in "spot fixing" of cricket matches. The claimant also asserted serious irregularity under section 69.
