Air travel Convention unfair to disabled passengers
Stott v Thomas Cook Tour Operators Ltd (Secretary of State for Transport intervening) SC TLR 13 March
Damages could not be awarded to a disabled passenger for distress and injury to feelings caused during air travel, contrary
to UK and European regulations on access to air travel for disabled people, because such an award was excluded by the terms
of the Montreal Convention unifying rules for international carriage by air adopted by the European Union.
