Success for crew insurance

CrewSEACURE has now been approved by Transport Canada, which recommends the MLC insurance products to companies seeking MLC certification from the Canadian government; and Seacurus has received the “Insurance Insider Industry Award for Broker Innovation” in recognition of its work in developing CrewSEACURE. Seacurus said the launch of CrewSEACURE in August 2013 to coincide with the implementation of the Maritime Labour Convention 2006 had created a high level of interest, with more than 100 annual policies already in place protecting more than 1,000 seafarers.
