£70,000 for nasal cancer caused by wood dust exposure

A man who developed nasal cancer as a result of being exposed to wood dust at work has been awarded compensation of £70,000. He worked as a timberman, repairing wharfs, jetties and piers. His job regularly involved sawing, cutting, drilling into and planing wood, which created a fine dust.
