Commercial premises – option to break – validity of notice – again!

This case is another in a long string of recent cases where a landlord has sought to resist a tenant’s notice to exercise a break option. This case raises an interesting issue as to mandatory requirements for the content of the notice and the effect of failure to comply. In the event the notice was upheld and declared to be valid.
