AIG becoming more aggressive deploying larger limits, chief executive says

AIG Europe’s chief executive, Rob Schimek, believes the carrier is becoming more aggressive in its deployment of large limits for “highly engineered” risks across the Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, buoyed by its recent decision to increase its commercial property per-risk capacity to $1.5bn and what he believes is an increasing desire for simplicity among large insureds regarding the structure of their coverage.
