Ending The Employment Relationship Consultation
The Government has published its response to the “Ending the Employment Relationship” consultation. Jo Swinson MP, Minister
for Employment Relations and Consumer Affairs, explained that the Ending the Employment Relationship consultation sought views
on two key issues to supplement the legislative changes: how to support changes aimed at facilitating the use of settlement
agreements as a consensual end to employment relationships; and whether the compensatory cap in unfair dismissal awards is
appropriate.
