£38,000 in compensation for leg injury
A man who had to retire from his job after suffering permanent damage to his ankle and calf in a fall has received £38,000
in compensation. The civil servant was making a domestic visit when he tripped and fell heavily on a broken paving slab outside
the residence. Scans revealed that whilst he hadn’t suffered any broken bones he had sustained a ruptured Achilles tendon,
a split calf muscle and a severely twisted left ankle.
