Jack Straw calls for wider action on bogus personal injury claims
Insurers should be able to challenge every potentially bogus personal injury claim, not only those involving whiplash, according
to the former Justice Minister Jack Straw, speaking to The Times newspaper. He said that a move by the coalition to increase
the threshold for cases for the small claims courts, from £1,000 to £5,000, should be applied more widely.
