Practice – Disclosure of documents – Whether plaintiff should produce documents referred to in pleading

This was an application by the defendant pursuant to Order 24 rule 11 and Order 24 rule 10 of the Rules of Court for the production of documents referred to in the statement of claim. The plaintiff’s claim was for freight owed due to an alleged exercise of a lien pursuant to a clause in the plaintiff’s charterparty.
