Supreme Court sets legal precedent in abuse case

The Supreme Court has ruled that legal responsibility for the sexual abuse of boys at a residential school in East Yorkshire should be shared between a welfare society, which managed the school, and a Catholic brotherhood, which provided teachers. Around 170 men allege that they were abused as children at St William’s in Market Weighton.
