Chuck Prince, former Citigroup CEO famously said of banks’ risk-taking in the leveraged buyout market that “As long as the music is playing, you’ve got to get up and dance.” A clear parallel of a commercial imperative driving all before it is now emerging as the pre-crisis business legacy in the AML/Sanctions space.
