ADMIRAL SELLS ITALIAN PRICE COMPARISON SITE CHIAREZZA

UK-based insurer Admiral has sold its Italian price comparison site Chiarezza to BlackFin Assurance Courtage for an undisclosed sum. At the end of last year Chiarezza had gross assets of £1.3m ($2.06m). Admiral said that the sale would have no impact on its Italian motor insurance operation ConTe, "which continues its operations as normal and continues to benefit from increasing rates of internet penetration in the Italian market". Chiarezza was launched in February 2010. Admiral has two other price comparison sites in Europe – Rastreator in Spain and LeLynx in France.
