In the 15 years I have been covering the insurance industry, I am sure there have been a number of issues that have not changed,
but the two I always remember (and which remind me irresistibly of the film Groundhog Day) are the restriction on foreign
direct investment in India and the controversy relating to flood insurance in the UK.
