£5,000 in compensation for wrongly prescribed medicine

The family of a woman who died after she was prescribed excessive levels of bipolar drug Lithium has received £5,000 in compensation from her GP practice. She died from bronchial pneumonia and an inquest into her death found the pneumonia was caused by accidental lithium overdose.
