LLOYD’S broker Guest Krieger has promoted Alon Miller to the position of managing director as the company looks to develop its business. Miller, who is a qualified lawyer in both the UK and Israel, first joined Guest Krieger at the beginning of 2005. Since then, he has played an important role in developing the company’s portfolio, especially its financial lines segment. Ilan Krieger, the broker’s founder, said: “This is an important appointment for Guest Krieger. As the company enters the next exciting phase in its development, we need strong and determined leadership – [Miller] has the skills and drive to provide it.” Miller said he was “delighted” to have given the opportunity to lead Guest Krieger, citing the broker’s proud history in the London market as one of the reasons behind his happiness at being appointed managing director. He added: “We have a highly experienced and motivated team, and the company is well positioned to achieve further expansion, taking advantage of current opportunities and market conditions.”
