Mid Staffordshire NHS Trust cases settled

Leigh Day lawyers have settled 97 individual claims for slightly more than £1.1mn involving Mid Staffordshire NHS Trust. The claims were all argued under the Human Rights Act and alleged the poor treatment the mostly elderly people received at Stafford Hospital directly caused or hastened their deaths, or hastened their deaths through gross and degrading treatment.
