India to bring Pakistan before FATF over Rupee counterfeiting

India’s home ministry has confirmed to MLB that it will approach the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) with formal claims and evidence alleging that Pakistan’s key intelligence agency is counterfeiting Indian currency. A senior official from the ministry said the Indian government would approach the international body in the next two to three weeks.
