INSURANCENOODLE AND SAFECO IN DISTRIBUTION LINK-UP

Chicago-based online distributor of small-business insurance InsuranceNoodle has signed an agreement with Seattle-based p/c insurer Safeco to distribute its small-commercial insurance products to the 3,600 commercial insurance agencies using the InsuranceNoodle platform. Safeco vice-president of national sales Nancy Carlson said that the agreement “enhances our distribution into areas where we are looking to grow the business”. Meanwhile, InsuranceNoodle’s InsureVianet division has expanded its offering of executive liability products for small businesses through agents in 16 further US states. The unit now offers the suite of products in 38 states.
