£60,000 for man hit by motorbike

A man who was knocked over whilst out walking his dog has been awarded £60,000 in compensation. The man and his dog were three-quarters of the way across a road when a motorcyclist rode into them, killing the dog and causing the man multiple injuries. He suffered three fractures to his pelvis, a cracked right shoulder-blade, and a broken collar-bone, as well as deep cuts to his head and shoulder, and internal bruising.
