Compensation for slip at work

A woman who slipped on water at work and fractured the elbow of her right arm has received compensation of £3,500. The water had leaked from cooling racks and the problem had been complained about many times over five years but nothing had been done. Inspections that were meant to occur every 12 months either didn’t take place or recommendations from them were ignored.
