Damages of £6,000 for cut hand

A man who suffered an accident at work after cutting his hand has been awarded damages of £6,000. He cut his hand on a protruding knife as he attempted to place his mug in a dishwasher at work. One of his colleagues had left a large knife with the blade facing upwards rather than down into the holder.
