Ace bolsters client offering with six hirings

ACE GROUP has made six global client executive appointments in an attempt to further its relationship with brokers and clients. Jeff Carr and Shaun Edwards are taking roles in London, with Olivier Roussel and Wolfgang Ruffert based in Paris and Frankfurt respectively; Andrea Pearson will be situated in Los Angeles and Karen Sawyer in New York. Carr has more than 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry and first joined Ace in 2008 as a client relationship manager, while his London colleague Edwards has been in the market for almost three decades, having joined Ace last year. Roussel comes from Gras Savoye, bringing with him 25 years of experience in risk consulting, broking and business development. Ruffert’s 40-year insurance career has been spent entirely in Germany working with large domestic and multi­national clients. Pearson recently joined Ace from Aon, while Sawyer has spent 35 years at Ace and its predecessor company.
