New deputy casualty underwriter for Argo International

Argo International has appointed Richard Smart as deputy underwriter of its Casualty Division. Mr Smart joins Argo International from Newline Underwriting Management Ltd, where he was most recently head of professional indemnity, a role he has held for the last five years. In this position, he was responsible for managing an account encompassing both primary and excess business.
