CRAWFORD & CO has set up an exclusive London desk focused on co-ordinating Chilean earthquake claims for insurers and reinsurers in the Lloyd’s and London market. Crawford has 435 adjusters, inspectors and other personnel working on claims from the quake, with a team in Chile also supplemented by members of Crawford’s Global Technical Services business units, which are focusing on the major and complex claims in the country. “Our Chilean operations continue to provide the insurance market with exemplary claims service despite the extenuating circumstances they are facing.
