£287,000 settlement for pedestrian

An elderly woman who sustained serious head and brain injuries when she was knocked over while crossing a road, has received £287,000 in an out of court settlement. She was walking across the road near her home when she was struck by a car one evening. The woman, who was in her mid-sixties at the time, has been left with a catalogue of problems including short-term memory loss, depression, and dizziness.
