£200,000 in mesothelioma compensation

A former UK resident, who emigrated to Australia in the 1970s, has recovered nearly £200,000 in compensation from his former employers as a result of his diagnosis with mesothelioma. He worked in the engine rooms and boiler rooms on ships in the Merchant Navy in the 1970s. He was exposed extensively to asbestos from lagging used to insulate pipes and machinery.
