Taking liberties

It seems that, in spite of the recent record number of prosecutions and ongoing investigations into breaches and potential breaches of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), the US Department of Justice (DoJ) had some spare time on its hands, says Bill Waite. Sufficient spare time indeed to engineer and then execute, with the help of no less than 150 FBI agents, the first “sting” operation in the history of FCPA enforcement and possibly the largest in white collar crime ever.
