Admiralty jurisdiction – Demurrage and deadfreight claims arising under agreement for sale of goods FOB – Whether claim fell within maritime jurisdiction

The plaintiff (“Tradhol”) concluded contracts with the defendant for the purchase and loading of ethyl alcohol, FOB Karachi. The contracts included a demurrage provision and provisions for prepayments and damages for any delays in loading and lost profits.
