Admiralty jurisdiction – Associated vessel – Claim by charterers against owner of guilty ship – Whether claimant entitled to arrest sistership that was demise-chartered to owner of guilty ship - Admiralty Jurisdiction Regulation Act No 105 of 1983 section 1(3)

The plaintiff was the charterer of the vessel Sunny Glory from Sunwoo Merchant Marine (Sunwoo MM). Disputes arose under the charter and the plaintiff arrested the vessel Chenebourg. At the time of the arrest, the Chenebourg was under demise charter to Sunwoo MM, who had time-chartered her to Swiss Marine Corporation Ltd (“SMC”).
