SRA’s Assigned Risks Pool consultation

The Solicitors Regulation Authority’s (SRA) has announced a consultation paper seeking the views of consumers, the legal profession, insurers, and the public on options for radical changes to the SRA’s Assigned Risks Pool (ARP) – the system under which solicitors who are unable to obtain insurance cover on the open market are given temporary cover to enable them to remain in practice.
