On 29 April 1995 the vessel
Amazon Reefer was chartered on an amended Gencon form for a voyage from Kandla to Novorossiysk. The charterparty contained a London arbitration
clause. Disputes arose under the charter and, by awards dated 19 November 1998 and 12 October 1999, the arbitrators awarded
the owners some US$820,000 plus interest and costs.
