On 17 August 2008 the claimant owners concluded a charterparty with the defendant charterers on an amended Asbatankvoy form for the carriage of a cargo of petroleum products from Karachi to Taiwan, Korea and Japan at a lumpsum freight. The laycan was 27 to 29 August.
