£40,000 in compensation for asbestosis
A former dock worker has recovered more than £40,000 in compensation following his diagnosis with asbestosis. He was employed
at the docks in East London and was often involved in unloading raw asbestos. He was originally rejected by a number of solicitors
who considered his claim was out of time, but eventually a firm took his case which was settled on a provisional basis which
confirms his right to return to court for further damages if his condition deteriorates.
