£181,000 in compensation for mesothelioma

A man has been awarded £181,000 in compensation after he was diagnosed with mesothelioma. The former operations manager was exposed to asbestos during the 1960s while working for a heating and engineering company as a fitter’s mate installing pipes. The claim was pursued through the Royal Court of Justice mesothelioma fast track system and an out of court settlement was reached with his employer.
