Rebrin role permanent

SWISS insurer Zurich has appointed Peter Rebrin permanent chief executive of its Latin America operations. Brazilian Rebrin had been serving in the role on an interim basis since Jaime Paredes stepped down in May. He will oversee operations in Argentina, Bolivia ( pictured), Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Venezuela from his Miami base, and report to Paul Hopkins, Zurich’s Americas chief executive. Rebrin joined Zurich in 1999 and has held various international and Latin American leadership positions, including head of corporate development with Zurich Brazil and chief operating officer for Zurich Latin America.
