Lords back reinsurers on test case

Reinsurers have won the Lexington v AGF/Wasa “follow the fortunes” test case after the House of Lords found that cover under
a facultative reinsurance contract was restricted to the term of the policy, irrespective of how extensive US courts had deemed
protection under the original insurance should be.
