Two recently placed cat bond transactions found more interest than expected from the investment community, boding well for
the risk securitization market for the rest of this year. Both the Eurus II transaction for Hannover Re and the Parkton Re
deal protecting two residual insurers in North Carolina increased volume from original plans.
