BRIT TAKES ON ENGLAND

London-listed insurer Brit has agreed a four-year deal from January next year to sponsor the English cricket team, beginning January next year. As part of the deal the Brit logo will appear on all playing and training apparel worn by the England men’s and women’s cricket teams, plus the England Lions and the England Disability teams. Brit succeeds mobile phone company Vodafone, which has decided not to renew its £4m a year deal after England’s tour of South Africa in 2009-10.
