Generali outlook reflects financial crisis pressures

Concerns about the insurer’s capital strength has earned its ratings a negative outlook

Insurers continue to face significant pressures from the financial crisis, mainly through a challenging operating environment, declining market values of their investments, and diminished flexibility in still unfavourable market conditions, said rating agency Fitch.
