Tenant’s claim against landlord succeeds – new ground on assessment of damages

Substantial claims by tenants against their landlords for breach of covenant and derogation from grant are relatively unusual. When they come along they are invariably of great interest. This case raises a number of interesting points and practical issues for both landlords and tenants.
