BNP Paribas takes majority stake in South Korean insurer
Foreign players are continuing to increase their investment in Asia, despite the economic slowdown
BNP Paribas Assurance S.A. has signed an agreement to increase its stake in South Korea’s SH&C Life Insurance Co from 50%
to 85%. The move will leave the company’s original investor, Shinhan Financial Group, with only 15%.
