Pahl to lead Willis Germany

WILLIS has named Mathias Pahl (pictured) chief executive of its German operation. He will replace Ralf Geck, who has announced he is to retire. Pahl was most recently regional manager, south, for Willis Germany and has been with the broker since 2003. He began his insurance career at Aon Jauch & Hübener GmbH, where he held a variety of roles including head of the international department for incoming business, before moving to Willis. In his new role, Pahl will be based in Frankfurt and report to Adam Garrard, chief executive, Willis continental Europe.
