POHJOLA ENTERS TALKS WITH FSBA OVER BANCASSURANCE LINK-UP

Finnish insurer Pohjola has begun discussions with the Finnish Savings Banks Association (FSBA) in the hope of striking a nationwide bancassurance deal to market its full range of products and services through locally based banks. Chief executive Peter Fagernas said that the hoped-for deal with the association would enable it “to obtain new customers and significantly boost sales and strengthen market share”.
