BROKER Marsh has doubled its client advisory expertise in the Edinburgh branch of its private client practice. John Fraser has joined the broker from Fortis Insurance to lead the Edinburgh-based team as senior private client manager and in his new role will focus on developing the broker’s private client business in Scotland and the north of England. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry. In addition, Wendy Brady joins as a private client team leader, focusing on new business development and client servicing. Before joining Marsh, Brady worked as a customer service manager at Prudential for 17 years. The final addition to the team is Gordon Baillie, who joins as a client adviser. He will manage client portfolios and account servicing and joins from Perth-based broker Clark Thomson. The Edinburgh appointments follow the announcement earlier this month that Marsh was appointing Paul O’Keefe as its global claims leader for its global energy practice, based in London.
