Local insurers make new demand for greater acces to China

It is more difficult for insurers on the island to access opportunities on the mainland than it is for US and European companies

Insurers in Hong Kong have stepped up pressure on the Chinese government to grant them access to the neighbouring province of Guangdong in South China, in a bid to increase their customer base in the current tough economic conditions.
