Growth of RSA’s global operations outpace domestic business

Emerging markets business was the fastest growing sector, drawing closer to RSA’s £1bn premium target by 2010

The UK’s second largest non-life insurer the RSA Group reported satisfactory results for 2008, with net written premium increasing by 11% to £6.5bn, operating results 7% higher at £867mn and pre-tax profits 13% higher at £759mn.
